We recently visited the small town of Talking Rock, Ga. If you enjoy visiting quaint small towns with so much character, you will not want to miss Talking Rock, Ga! There is a beautiful mountain stream that Meanders through the town with a gorgeous park located adjacent to it. The town is composed of the most adorable little shops and is continuing to grow! Have lunch at the Boxcar Grill located on an old steam engine train; the food is all organic and made fresh Wed-Sun. The highlight of the town is the Talking Rock Brewery, a brewery actually located on the steam engine! The beer is all made locally and they alternate the brews. If you love a good draft beer, you will enjoy the beer on the train featuring light and dark beers. If you prefer wine, Mary's Wine Bar can set you up with great wines to sip with your meal! They have live music on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. The Boxcar Grill will even bring your food outside to a table under a covered area in front of the stage, so you can enjoy your food while listening to music.

Have a picnic in the park or play in beautiful mountain stream. The kiddos will enjoy the playing in the park, mountain stream, or starting up a game of kickball in the grassy field located along the stream.

Talking Rock, Ga is home of some unique shops, too! Enjoy the quaint shops including Lateral Drift, that has a variety of outdoor clothing, gift items, and ice cream. You will want to shop The Decor Amore for their curated modern farmhouse decor; such beautiful items to furnish your home! They even have a Cigar Shop located inside the Decor Amore. The Petticoat Junction has unique cute clothes, candles, and some home decor. The shops are all built and decorated to imitate an old mountain town; it really gives you the vibe of being in a movie from back in the day with roosters roaming around and the railroad track running right through the town!

Sit by the fire ring on a cool evening or play a game of corn hole while listening to live music on the weekends. Browse through the charming shops featuring farmhouse decor, candles, cigars, outdoor attire, unique clothing, and ice cream!

Sip a cold beer from the brewery on a refurbished train or enjoying a glass of wine from Mary's Wine Bar on the caboose Wed-Sun or while enjoying live music on the weekends.
