Traveling in our RV is one of our favorite activities in this season of retirement. Looking polished and put together while traveling from one destination to another in an RV can be a daunting task in the summer heat. Discover RV summer travel outfits for petite women over 60 that will have you looking polished and put together in the heat while staying cool and wrinkle-free.
I love wearing dresses, linen pants, and jeans, but these are not the most comfortable clothing to wear while riding for hours in a vehicle. Traveling in the summer is the time for comfortable shorts and lightweight pants that are soft, breathe easily, and do not wrinkle easily. This is my selection of the best summer travel outfits during RV travel. Follow the 1/3, 2/3 rule (top covers 1/3 upper body; the remaining 2/3 consists of high-waisted shorts or lightweight pants. Keep everything in proportion. If the pants are full, wear slim-fitting tops. If the bottoms are fitted, wear a crop top with more fullness in the top.

I pair these linen tops with Ann Taylor Petite Shorts for their chic look and comfortable fabric while traveling. The Amazon Guess Kadlin Sneakers with slight built-in heel lifts are comfortable for walking on all terrains that you may encounter at stop-overs between destination points. The Amazon ruffle trim socks add a touch of femininity that you will enjoy.

This is one of my favorite travel outfits because of the layers. These lightweight joggers are very comfortable for traveling and are wrinkle-free. The fabric is very soft, comfortable and provides just enough coverage if you often get cool from air conditioning while traveling. Pair these joggers with sleeveless, short sleeve, or thin long sleeve shirt and a popover sweatshirt that can be worn when you need extra warmth or removed when the temperature heats up.
