Items you will need:

Thread ( same color as pants or jeans) or Singer Nylon Thread (for white or light colored jeans)

Pins

Measuring tape

Try on jeans with shoes

Try on jeans with the shoes you plan to wear with jeans. I enjoying wearing 2.5” wedge sandals or sneakers with low heel lifts. I try on both types of shoes to find a length that will hopefully work for either shoe so, I have flexibility in choosing dressy or casual jean outfits.

Just a few thoughts that may make your experience hemming pants easy. Mark a straight line after you measure to help you cut straight. Use very sharp scissors made for cutting fabric. Use strong thread, even a clear nylon thread works great on white jeans!
